Personal Accident
The Insurers will pay the sum insured if you suffer bodily injury during the period of insurance, which results in any of the following:
- Death
- Total & irrecoverable loss of sight of one or both eyes
- Loss of one or two limbs
- Total & irrecoverable loss of sight of one eye & loss of one limb
- Permanent total disablement (other than total and irrecoverable loss of sight or loss of limbs)
- Temporary total disablement - The insurers will pay a weekly benefit for as long as you continue to be disabled, up to an agreed number of weeks from the date of an accident.
Sickness
The Insurers will pay up to the sum insured if you suffer an illness, the symptoms of which first appear during the period of insurance and which results in any one of the following:
- Total and irrecoverable loss of sight of both eyes
- Permanent total disablement by paralysis
- Temporary total disablement - Insurers will pay a weekly benefit for as long as you continue to be disabled, up to an agreed number of weeks from the date that the symptoms of the illness first appear.
